International Graduate Student Scholarship (IGSS) Canada



 The Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research established a limited number of scholarships to recognize and reward the excellence of international graduate students pursuing Master's or Ph.D. degrees at the University of Regina. The scholarships will be available on a competitive basis.
Course level : Ph.D.; Master.
Eligibility : Please see the Terms of Reference for FGSR Scholarships and Research 

To be eligible, an applicant must meet the following minimal criteria;
  • are international students (i.e., those in Canada on study permit) admitted as fully-qualified to any master's or doctoral program;
  • are registered for formal credit hours of a graduate program in the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research;
  • are students in good standing regarding registration requirements for international students, i.e., registered full-time in Fall and Winter semesters, and part-or full-time in Spring/Summer semester;
  • were not admitted to the University of Regina through a Joint International Graduate Degree program;
  • have achieved a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 80% over the equivalent of the last two years of study (can be combined undergraduate and graduate studies); and
  • show promise as research scholars.
