Hello everyone, this blog design for information about scholarships

The purpose of this site, I gather the best information about financial aid for students,
and this is the first article :
Masters in Germany with scholarships

Germany is considered to be one of the most preferred destinations for International students for studies. It is known as the land of innovation and ideas. The education system in Germany is tailored in such a manner that it can address the needs of an extensive and diverse population.

In Germany there are mainly two types of Institutions for Higher Education.

Universities (including Universities of Technology): Such universities are research oriented and can award PhD degrees.

Universities of Applied Sciences: These are practice –oriented and cannot award PhD degree. Courses mainly offered by these universities are engineering, business administration, social sciences and design. These have collaborations with the industry players.

Apply:

Start gathering information from the month of October- November. A lot of information you can gather from DAAD through internet and brochures. Every year some counseling sessions are organized by DAAD for International students. You can attend the nearest DAAD office for the sessions.

January – March: The universities you are interested in contact them. This will be your most reliable and important source of information pertaining to eligibility, course duration, fee, application procedure etc..

March – June: Submission of Application Form. All the information about how to apply is mentioned on the website of the course / university you have chosen. Send your application packet to the university or to uni-assist.

uni-assist  is an association of German universities. It is a certified body that simplifies application procedure for international students and at the same time, support German universities in the selection of their foreign students. If you are applying to member universities of uni-assist  then you need to submit the application form at uni-assist, because the member universities don’t entrain direct applications.

Students from European countries are charged € 43 for their first application and students from other than European countries are charged € 68. For every added application applicants are charged € 15 per university.
For detailed information please visit http://languages.uni-assist.de/english.html website.

If you have selected universities other than uni-assist member universities, submit your application directly to the universities. All the required information and material can be downloaded from the university website.

Much of the institutions in Germany charge less as education in Germany is subsidized by the state but for some special courses you may need to pay higher fees.
